Agriculture Essay Contest Scholarship

The East Texas State Fair is proud to support the next generation of leaders through the East Texas State Fair Agriculture Essay Contest Scholarship. One graduating high school senior from East Texas will be awarded a $2,500 scholarship to continue their education at an accredited four-year university, two-year college, technical/trade school or vocational certification programs.

Texas Fairs & Events Association Scholarship

Application Deadline: April 1 - Application must be received in The Park of East Texas office by this date to be considered as a possible nominee by The Park of East Texas for this scholarship award. Eligibility: Scholarships are granted to graduating Texas high schools students attending an accredited college or university the following semester. Student must have participated actively in an event of The Park of East Texas, including the East Texas State Fair and Academic Rodeo.

Procedures: Applications are submitted to The Park of East Texas Scholarship Committee. One applicant may be selected from those received to represent the organization and be submitted to Texas Association of Fairs and Events for consideration of their scholarship award.
